CTT - Correios de Portugal has launched a new online subscription service for Savings Certificates, via the CTT APP. The Aforro Digital function allows you to subscribe to and reinforce Savings Certificates in a simple, fast and secure way, via the CTT app, in already existing Savings Accounts.

In the Saving and Protecting area of the CTT APP, you can now make investment reinforcements, access and manage a Savings account securely from your mobile phone.

With the digital subscription we have created yet another proximity channel so that people with savings can comfortably manage their savings accounts wherever they are. This new product confirms CTT's strategy of innovation with a focus on customer convenience.”

The new Saving and Protecting area of the CTT APP allows people to subscribe to or reinforce their Savings Account, with a minimum of 10 euros, up to the subscription limit; simulate the return that their investment could bring and share this simulation with anyone they wish, and also consult the history of the last 30 movements of the savings account.

To guarantee total security, the saver's identity is verified using the Digital Mobile Key. Only after verifying their identity is it possible to start a subscription through Aforro Digital. Account management via the APP is only possible for the saver's own Savings Account.

All these services are available for existing Savings Accounts. New Savings Accounts have to be opened in person at one of the 570 CTT Post Offices throughout the country. If the customer wishes to open an account immediately, it is possible to obtain a digital password via the CTT App. Alternatively, customers can also book a visit to the CTT Post Office at the location and time that suits them best via the CTT website or by calling 800 201 800.

This new area reinforces the existing range of services in the CTT APP, where customers can already track objects from CTT and other operators, manage their Locky Locker and simulate and/or make deliveries, create their virtual address and make toll payments on ex-SCUT roads, all from their mobile phone.
