CTT – Correios de Portugal is present at the Oporto Book Fair, which will take place between August 28^th and September 13^th, at the Palácio de Cristal Gardens.

CTT is present at stand 32. There will be discounts from 20% to 50% in selected books

The Oporto Book Fair 2020 opens at 12h00 from Mondays to Fridays. On Saturdays and Sundays at 11h00. Sundays to Thursdays it closes at 21h30 and Fridays and Saturdays at 23h00.

The Oporto Book Fair’s aim is to promote the reading in Portuguese, to encourage reading habits and to increase the literacy level. CTT continues its tradition with a stand dedicated to all those who visit it.

This year, due to the pandemics context, the organization has implemented a series of mitigation measures to reduce to risk of spreading the virus. The area was limited, entrances and exits are controlled and conditioned to a maximum of 3500 people. At all entrances and all around the fair space there are alcohol gel dispensers, as well as signs to reinforce the need to adopt the prevention measures in force.

Regarding the Oporto Fair cultural events that will take place in closed areas, there are new measures regarding social distancing (2mt) between seats, alcohol gel dispensers, mandatory use of face masks, and established circuits for entrances and exits and natural ventilation. As for the Fair’s open space events, they are identified and limited, with a social distancing of 1,5 mt. and alcohol gel dispensers, as well as established circuits for entrances and exits.

CTT also requests a rigorous compliance with all competent authorities recommendations.
